Early childhood is the ideal time for children to develop and practice combining healthy eating and physical activity. Guardian Childcare & Education respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land we work on and explore each day. We acknowledge their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to the longest living culture and their Elders past, present and emerging.
At the same time, we foster a love for learning by providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for children. Our highly qualified educators are dedicated to fostering learning and skill development in young children. They are given the freedom to express their dreams and aspirations. Orchard Early Learning Centre West Pennant Hills provides centre-based care for up to 120 approved spaces. Additional children or adults are an extra $2 each (newborns – 18 months are free). The group is full but they welcome you to come along to one session for free and leave your details on the waitlist.

Drawing on the natural environment, we look to inspire children to become discoverers, learners and thinkers – holistically preparing them for a life of learning and wellbeing. Every child enjoys 5 wholesome meals a day, freshly prepared by our dedicated in-house centre chef to support their growth and wellbeing. Once a child turns 4, we recommend at least four days to help prepare them for the routine of school and build friendships that will instill confidence and teamwork skills. I just want to emphasise how great both Kelly and Taylor are. Guardian Cherrybrook is our first daycare and I was very nervous but their level of care was amazing and I felt very confident in their abilities. Libby seems like a new and younger member of staff and she is also showing amazing ability in her skills.
The ratings for Pennant Hills Preschool and Kindergarten were issued as of January 2024. Pennant Hills Preschool and Kindergarten meets the National Quality Standard for its overall rating. The owners and leadership team remain actively involved in day-to-day operations, ensuring a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and long-term vision.

Through strong partnerships with local primary schools, educators align their curriculum with early school expectations, participate in transition programs, and support families through the process. With natural and organic design elements, state-of-the-art facilities, and a personalised approach to care and learning, they create an environment where children are inspired to grow and families feel truly supported. With all-inclusive care, flexible hours, and an expert team of educators, your child will enjoy an enriched program that includes nature play, excursions, cooking, yoga, creative arts, language, and music. It’s all part of their commitment to delivering the best start in life. Morning tea for kids and adults is provided and ends with free play every week. The group is currently full but is accepting people for the waiting list.
My son didn’t just bring home creative  trinkets he made himself, he also brought home a love of science and maths and the skills to apply them in every day life. I cannot thank the Montessori team enough for the world they have opened up for my little boy, and the strong foundation they have helped me build for him. At Pennant Hills Preschool (PHPS), we believe that "being happy" is the first and most important starting point in becoming a successful learner. The first six points in our philosophy highlight how the 5 Outcomes from The Early Years Learning Framework v2 (EYLF) are embedded into our program, followed by the key learning areas and enrichment programs at PHPS.
