We are licensed to care for daycare bayswater vic up to 75 children per day, aged from 4 years and upwards. At our early learning centre in Bayswater, our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting children to learn through play, exploration and discovery. Many of our educators have been part of the Goodstart Bayswater North family for many years—some for over two decades. We’re also proud to support emerging educators and trainees, helping them grow in their careers while nurturing their passion for working with children.
Our expansive services ensure that we meet every need, providing more than just care but a foundation for life-long learning and community integration. We are a 47 place long day care centre with 3 rooms ranging from 0-5 year old. We aim to provide high quality care in a home away from home atmosphere where children can build secure relationships with trusted Educators most of whom showing a long-term commitment to their vocation and proving continuity of care. We provide safe, nurturing spaces to enjoy learning activities and friendships, where children are prioritised, families are supported, and all individuals are recognised, accepted and encouraged to thrive. Calculations herein are based on the assumption all eligibility criteria is met.

Parents can relax with a coffee in our cafe while children have a ball exploring all of our attractions. Play Childcare and Kindergarten provides centre-based care for up to 100 approved spaces. Sparrow Early Learning Bayswater provides centre-based care for up to 55 approved spaces. Important goals of preschool programs are to help children acquire social skills and giving them the tools they need before school entry.
Silverwood Child Care Centre provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for children to explore, interact, learn and most of all, develop and encourage their own individual personalities. Parents are welcome to come alone, or with their children (children are more than welcome to engage with the other children and play while they wait). Parents / caregivers will be introduced to our friendly staff, shown the areas that we use and a given a general rundown of the service and an opportunity to ask any questions they have.
They each bring their own unique strengths and ways of engaging with the world, and I believe our role as educators is to listen deeply, respond meaningfully, and provide the right conditions for their growth. When children feel safe, seen, and supported, they are more willing to explore, take risks, and express themselves. These early years lay the foundation for their identity, well-being, and lifelong love of learning. We are accessible to all members of the community and we aim to develop positive relationships with all families to create an inclusive centre.

Lollipop’s indoor play centre in Bayswater promotes healthy activity in a safe and secure, fully air conditioned environment. Our security system gives you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your children and their friends are safe. We are very lucky to have a qualified chef with many years of experience at our service cooking nutritious, healthy and delicious meals for the children. Our chef is at the centre five days a week, involved in the program and often cooks with the children.
When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. We have an annual calendar of events inviting families to participate in various celebrations. Families are welcome throughout the year, and we offer parent-educator meetings on request.
Your children will be climbing, sliding, jumping and exploring their way through our exciting and engaging play equipment. With our New Beginnings program, your baby will be paired with a primary teacher who will provide personalized attention and nurture them through every milestone—within a caring and cohesive community. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life. Our  neighbourhood house offers a range of community programs, events and family support services. On 22nd February 1992 Noranda Child Care Centre was opened due to a high demand for community-based long day care places in the City of Bayswater. TeamKids – Bayswater South Primary provides centre-based care for up to 60 approved spaces. Great Beginnings Bayswater provides centre-based care for up to 87 approved spaces. We also work closely with external professionals and support agencies to ensure that children with additional needs and their families are included, supported, and empowered to participate fully in both home and centre life.
Our evidence-based Rhythm and Movement for Self-Regulation (RAMSR) program is designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. It is an innovative approach to holistic learning, development and well-being in early childhood. Over the years, I’ve learnt that children are incredibly capable, curious, and resilient.
Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers collaborate with the local primary school to deliver a Government-approved Kindergarten program that prepares children for a smooth transition to school. Our kinder children enjoy excursions to nearby Glen Park, and we host visits from the librarian, dentist, and emergency services, ensuring a well-rounded, enriching experience for every child.
